Dead Sea Salts?

Yes, indeed. The Dead Sea is located in the Middle East and borders Jordan, Palestine, and Israel. It's called "dead" because it is the most saline body of water in the world and no fish or macroscopic aquatic organisms live there. It has a 33% salinity, compared to 3% in sea water.

These salts are unique with over fifteen natural and unprocessed minerals. They contain a much smaller proportion of sodium chloride (common salt) and instead they contain a balance of magnesium, potassium, and calcium chlorides.

What are the benefits?

Your skin is the largest organ in your body and considered the most vulnerable. Exposure to the elements, the sun, chemicals and aging (yuck, don’t remind me) takes its toll. It’s important to nurture your skin to restore and maintain health.

Research suggests that soaking in a bath rich with the minerals from the Dead Sea Salt can moisturize, detoxify,  and soften your skin, and enhance relaxation of your body.

Achy Bones Bath Remedy is raw unrefined Dead Sea Salts, with soy based body safe fragrance and no coloring. I created Achy Bones with three splendid fragrances to relax, stimulate, or purify, depending on your mood. Also available unscented, so you can enjoy your favorite candles.
